Samantha Markle broke her silence on the “lies and porkie pies” told by her sister, the Duchess of Sussex, in the ‘fake’ documentary on Netflix, Harry & Meghan.

In a bombshell new interview, Ms Markle revealed why her side of the family was kept away from the royal wedding, and the “lies”, repeated in Harry & Meghan, used to justify their absence.

“We found out that there were a lot of porkie pies probably told to the royals, and even to Harry when they met her,” Ms Markle said on Fox Nation’s “Tucker Carlson Today.”

“And in order to cover up, ‘Oh my God, so you didn’t get grants and scholarships, you never worked for the embassy, what do you mean you only did a five-week study program’?”

Ms Markle claimed they were kept away from the wedding to avoid talking to their new in-laws over champagne and inadvertently revealing that the Prince’s new wife was pretending to be someone she wasn’t.

That included the claim that the Duchess of Sussex once worked at the US Embassy in Argentina, a fact that would be proven false if “uncle Mike” revealed the truth.

“So our uncle Mike who worked for the embassy, as a favour to Day, dad paid for a five-week study program, uncle Mike threw in a letter of recommendation to be kind, even though he’d only met Meghan when she was a baby, and so, well, a five-week study program doesn’t equate with working at the Embassy. Which she told Rachael Ray and Craig Ferguson on live television,” Ms Markle said.

“So all of these lies started coming out. But we didn’t know that she had told the Royal family so many porkie pies. So it makes sense, ‘Oh my God, I’ve got to keep everybody away because if they start talking, the lies come out.”

Asked about the characterisation made in the Netflix series that she was barred from the wedding for calling her sister “Princess Pushy”, Ms Markle said it was another porkie pie used to cover up previous ones.

“She was lying, absolutely,” Ms Markle said. “ That’s a media construct, and that’s not how I talk.’ And I never said she’s got a soft spot for gingers. That’s British jargon, that’s not how I talk.”

“So it works for [Harry and Meghan], but she was comfortable applying those labels to me, being upset at me, without knowing what I really said.”

She also explained on the Fox Nation episode that she was hurt by her sister’s continued attempts in the Netflix series to paint her family as a house divided as “fake news”, saying they were always close.

“We weren’t a family apart, any more than any other normal family. I had my apartment and a job, my brother had his,” she explained. “But we were still only 10 minutes away from Meg.”

She added that, contrary to rumours, they grew up as sisters, not stepsisters.

“I’m not some disconnected sibling raised somewhere else, and then brought together later in life,” she said. “We pretty much grew up as a normal family. My brother and I were older siblings. When she was born, she was brought home from the hospital to our house.”

Ms Markle said they were puzzled at first why both sides of the Markle family were kept away from the wedding, but they quickly began discovering the layers of lies that the Duchess of Sussex continued to propagate in her Netflix series.

“There were so many of them. But why? It would have been so easy to be honest about who she is and to be proud and empower other women when she’s out there using her platform,” Ms Markle said.

“Be proud of who you are, work hard, you don’t have to pretend to be someone else, you don’t have to dress like Dianna. You don’t have to say you’ve got grants and scholarships. Give accolades to those who bring you up.

“Sealing off all of the hatches and keep everybody from talking.
