The 38-year-old Aussie recluse walked the ruby rug alongside her husband Erik Anders Lang. She also posed with Cameron Diaz and Australian actress Rose Byrne.
Fuelling suggestions the singer’s shyness may be a publicity stunt, Furler looked quite at home while she smiled and posed for photographers.
She was notable by her absence from the recent ARIAs and American Music Awards, despite taking out numerous gongs.
Furler has previously explained the reason for her shunning public life was the hope of protecting her mental health. Last year she told America’s Billboard that she had battled an addiction to painkillers and alcoholism while struggling to cope with the pressure of fame.
