THE guessing game has begun as royal watchers try to work out where Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank will spend their honeymoon.

The well-travelled newlyweds have already explored much of Europe, including a trip to Italy this year and were engaged in Nicaragua, in Central America, in January.

Some say they might return to Verbier, the posh ski resort in Switzerland where they first met eight years ago.

Jack was 24 and holidaying with friends at the resort much loved by celebrities and royals, while the then 20-year-old Princess Eugenie was celebrating the 50th birthday of her father Prince Andrew.

Another option is Virgin billionaire Richard Branson’s private Necker Island in the Caribbean.

The resort was wrecked by Hurricane Irma in 2017 but is due to re-open this month.

Eugenie is friends with Branson’s daughter Holly, who attended the wedding with her brother Sam. Other royals including Prince William and Prince Harry have been there before, albeit as children with their mother Princess Diana.

They may keep their destination a total secret like Prince Harry and Meghan, who have never revealed the location of their honeymoon, taken a few days after their wedding in May.

There was speculation they travelled to Namibia in Africa, but later reports had them staying in Ashford Castle in Ireland.

Eugenie’s cousin Prince William and his bride Catherine visited the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean for their honeymoon in 2011, staying at the exclusive $10,000 a night North Island resort.

Eugenie’s now-divorced parents Prince Andrew, a former Navy man, and Sarah Ferguson spent their honeymoon in 1986 aboard a private yacht off the Azores Islands, near Portugal, then continued the nautical theme when they boarded the royal yacht Britannia for a trip across the Atlantic.
