RENEE Zellweger made her first public appearance yesterday after she made headlines around the world last October with a bizarre new look.

The 45-year-old star made her first public appearance yesterday since making headlines back in October last year with a new fresh-faced look.

At the time, the Bridget Jones actor dismissed rumours she had undergone plastic surgery, saying, “People don’t know me in my 40s”.

“My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy. For a long time I wasn’t doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn’t allow for taking care of myself ... I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things.”

But appearing at Paris Fashion Week yesterday for the Miu Miu autumn/winter show, Renée Zellweger looked more like the Renée Zellweger we’re used to seeing on the big screen.

The actor, who hasn’t appeared in a film since 2010, will make her movie comeback later this year alongside Keanu Reeves in The Whole Truth, about a defence lawyer works to get his teenage client acquitted of murdering his wealthy father.
