Radiant Meghan wows crowds with huge baby bump on royal visit with Prince Harry
Sporting an impressive baby bulge, Meghan Markle has revealed to fans when she and Prince Harry will welcome their first child, during the couple’s first official engagement of 2019.
Pregnant Meghan Markle has reportedly dropped a big hint about her first child’s due date while on a visit to community groups in Birkenhead, Merseyside.
The event was the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first official engagement of 2019.
Kensington Palace announced last year the royal pair were expecting their baby during this year’s British spring, with royal pundits tipping March or early April this year.
But the Duchess revealed personally to fans when she will give birth, while the baby’s gender remains unknown.
“We asked her how her pregnancy was going and she said she was six months and she tapped her tummy,” Carla Gandy told PEOPLE.
The magazine also reported that Meghan told wellwishers in the town that she was due in late April.
Meghan, wearing a pair of sky-high red stilettos despite being heavily pregnant, was her usual effortlessly elegant self.
She wore her hair in her signature messy bun and carried a brown handbag as she tenderly cradled her baby bump.
The Duchess also showed off a stunning red coat by Canadian designer Sentaler over a purple dress by the design house Babaton.
The royal pair hadn’t been seen together since they joined the Queen and the rest of the royal family at a Christmas Day church service on the royal Sandringham estate.
As Meghan settles into royal life, she has been undertaking solo appearances, but joined her husband in the town of Birkenhead to visit several community centres, and meet local military veterans and young people.

They undertook a walkabout – their first since their blockbuster tour of Australia and the Pacific in October – meeting the public, chatting and shaking hands.
Meghan and Harry’s first stop was Hamilton Square, where they viewed a new sculpture to mark the 100th anniversary of war poet Wilfred Owen’s death.
Screaming fans shouted “Meghan” as the royal pair unveiled a plaque to go with the sculpture.
The 37-year-old Duchess intends to work late into her pregnancy, and has several events planned for this week.
Their public appearances come after another torrid weekend of headlines for Meghan, who has been dubbed “Duchess Difficult’’ by the British press, with news that her bodyguard, a senior female officer with Scotland Yard, has resigned, weeks after her personal assistant also moved on.
The royal pair, who are hugely popular with the public, showed no signs of concern as they chatted and laughed with those who braved a freezing winter’s day to meet them.
On Wednesday night, Harry and Meghan will again step out together, attending the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s new show, Totem at the Royal Albert Hall.
The event is being held to aid Sentabale, the charity founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, to help children and young people with HIV in the African country.
Dog-lover Meghan was also to visit Mayhew, an animal charity and one of the four organisations that she has agreed to become royal patron for.
As the royal family returns to work from their Christmas break, Catherine, wife of Prince William, is also making a public appearance on Tuesday, visiting a community garden in inner-city London to meet volunteers working on community cohesion and creating green spaces in the city.
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, was to take part in a winter plating workshop, bird-box building and pizza-making in the kitchen associated with the garden.’
