Eugenie shared a selection of candid photos featuring her mum, with the caption: “Half an hour left to go of October 15th 2022 but better late than never. Happy Birthday my dear mumsy!”

The photos were taken in rural locations and also featured Princess Eugenie’s husband of four years, Jack Brooksbank.

Fergie is apparently very much back in the royal fold, attending the Queen’s funeral with the royal family while she remains close to her ex-husband who she shares a home with on the Windsor estate.

FERGIE CUDDLES UP TO QUEEN’S CORGIS

Earlier, Ferguson celebrated her 63rd birthday by posting poignant pictures of the late Queen’s beloved corgis.

The Duchess of York, who adopted the pooches with her ex-husband Prince Andrew, after the monarch’s death last month, called Muick and Sandy the “present that keeps on giving”.

Sarah now cares for the two dogs at the Royal Lodge, the home she shares with her ex-husband near Windsor Castle.

In one image, Sarah was pictured lying down on the grass as the Queen’s two beloved dogs stood side-by-side next to her after their walk around the estate.

A carousel of cute images showed a smiling Sarah, who announced this week she will release a new historical romance novel in March 2023, hugging the dogs.

“How heartbreakingly beautiful,” one fan commented. “They are in safe, gentle hands with Sarah.”

Another said: “My heart melts at this... It’s important that a pet gets a home after its care giver passes. And yours is a true honour. What a beautiful gift of trust to you.”

Earlier this month, the Duchess of York said that being asked to take care of Sandy and Muick was a “big honour”, according to the Telegraph.

Speaking at the Henley Literary Festival, she described the two new additions to her busy household as “national treasures” who have been “trained well”.

Muick, who joined the royal family at the start of 2021, was named after Loch Muick on the Balmoral Estate.

Sandy was presented to the Queen as a 95th birthday present from Prince Andrew and his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

The corgis touched hearts the world over when they made a poignant appearance at Her Majesty’s funeral on September 19.

As the Queen’s coffin made its way up the Windsor Long Walk, Muick and Sandy waited for the processional to pass, to see the Queen for one last time.

WILLIAM SHOWS OFF IMPRESSIVE BOXING SKILLS

Prince William has shown off his impressive right royal hook during a charity boxing session in London.

The Prince and Princess of Wales attended an event on Thursday local time to support Coach Core — celebrating its 10th anniversary— a program that trains young people to become coaches and encourages the next generation of athletes.

Speaking at the event, Prince William said that he and Catherine were “as always, delighted to be here with you”.

“Sport has an incredible way of providing hope, connection and opportunity, and when Coach Core was established ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, it was designed to use that power to help change young people’s lives,” he said.

The royal couple, of course, are no strangers to getting a tiny bit competitive on their royal outings together, from joining different teams in sailing races to facing off in a sprint.

Prince William was spotted taking hits at a boxing bag and kicking a soccer ball, while Catherine played a round of seated bocce ball.

Wearing a dark navy suit and blue boxing gloves, the Prince of Wales was filmed throwing a few jabs at a heavy red punching bag.

And he then ramped up his workout by throwing a couple of big right hands in his formal attire.

Onlookers excitedly looked on as he then engaged in some light sparring with another coach.

And the royal couple were captured enjoying themselves as they got involved with several young people associated with the charity and got a taste of some of the sports sessions offered.

“We all face barriers and challenges in life, and these can sometimes take incredible bravery to overcome,” he said.
“Not only have you faced these down, you have positively impacted the lives of others along the way and inspired many more. We are incredibly excited to see what the future holds for all of you.”

According to the Sun, Prince William and Catherine’s Royal Foundation launched the Coach Core program in 2012, the same year of the London Olympic Games to contribute to the legacy ideals of the events, and in response to the city’s riots.

Coach Core is now an independent charity which has supported more than 750 disadvantaged young people onto community sports coaching apprenticeships.

Gymnast Max Whitlock, a six-time Olympic medallist and a Coach Core ambassador, said: “We’re helping a lot more kids involved in sport by providing good coaches, good role models and (helping) these people into full-time employment – which is incredible.

“Two of the biggest problems in gymnastics – it’s the same in most sports – is space and coaches.

“Obviously Coach Core is trying to fulfil that need for more and more good quality coaches to support these children who are coming through.
