Cheeky Prince Louis wasn’t the only one demanding Kate Middleton’s attention at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, a heartwarming new video has revealed.

The adorable footage shows the Duchess of Cambridge tending to Mia Tindall, the eldest of Zara and Mike Tindall’s three children, after she became restless during the Platinum Pageant.

In the grainy video, Kate, 40, is seen stroking Mia’s arm and whispering in her ear as the little girl becomes flustered during the proceedings.

Princess Charlotte lent a hand by stroking Mia’s back after she climbed over Kate’s seat for a cuddle.

Mia, who is 22nd in line to the throne, attended the event with her parents and sister Lena, three, and one-year-old brother Lucas.

KATE AND WILLS RESPOND TO LOUIS ANTICS

After photos of Prince Louis of Cambridge went viral during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, some showing the little prince acting up during proceedings, Kate Middleton and Prince William posted to social media.

The royal couple firstly thanked royal supporters for the Jubilee – and Prince Louis even got a special mention, with a subtle acknowledgment of his eye-catching behaviour.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared unseen photos from the incredible four-day bank holiday, including some of their adorable son.

Prince Louis “stole the show” during nearly every one of his appearances over the four-day event, and has gained a legion of fans in the process.

A new black-and-white shot posted to the official Instagram account for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shows four-year-old Prince Louis from behind with his hands on his hips as he stands next to his dad, Prince William, 39.

The photo was taken on Thursday when Trooping the Colour took place.

Louis can be seen dressed in his sailor outfit, which resembled one Prince William wore 37 years ago.

In another shot, Kate, 40, is seen crouching down next to Louis and her eldest two kids, Prince George, eight, and Princess Charlotte, seven.

Other snaps in their post today show highlights from the Jubilee, including crowds lining The Mall waving Union Jack flags and the spectacular Tree of Trees sculpture lit up.

On the @dukeandduchessofcambridge post, William and Kate wrote: “What a fantastic weekend of celebrations.

“Seeing people across the nation coming together with family, friends and loved ones has been extremely special.

“Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to The Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership.

“From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties up and down the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember.

“We all had an incredible time, especially Louis …” and the post included the eye emoji.

It comes as Prince Louis delighted crowds again with his reactions at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.

He was spotted displaying a wide array of emotions, gestures, and facial expressions while seated next to his mother, Kate Middleton, without breaking into a tantrum.

It comes after he was pictured covering his ears amid the public’s applause at the Trooping the Colour parade on Thursday, and screaming and pulling his cheeks and eyes in an apparent protest during a special fly-past.

At Sunday’s event Prince Louis was seen shushing his mother, placing his hands over his face, and even poking his tongue out.

At other times he stood on his seat, or took a refreshing drink from a can.

However, not everyone was impressed with the four-year-old’s behaviour.

“At what point do we go from ‘wow, what a relatable toddler moment’ to ‘wow, you have no control of your children?’ Because that video is (cringe emoji),” one user wrote.

“I just think an expert on early years would have a better understanding of which events your 4 year old could handle and which events he can’t. And maybe an understanding of how to control them a bit in public. There’s a whole gap between robotic and straight up badly behaved.

“And to be clear – I’m criticising the parents here. I’m not making fun of a child or picking on a child or whatever nonsense anyone is gonna say.”

“What’s cute now isn’t cute as a teen,” added another.

“Parents have a short window to create the parent child bond. Meaning parents need to set boundaries n stick to them.”

However, most royal watchers appeared to be delighted with Prince Louis’ scene-stealing behaviour.

Later on Prince Louis was seen sitting with his dad Prince William, and with his grandfather, Prince Charles, who pointed something out to him in the pageant, and Louis also pointed something out to his granddad.

During the show outside Buckingham Palace, the little Prince of Cambridge pulled more than a few entertaining faces as he watched the pageant from the Royal box – and to help keep him entertained, as well as to keep him in line, Mike Tindall, sitting behind the Cambridges, gave Louis a few funny facial expressions of gentle warning.

The former England rugby player gestured and pointed to his eyes as if to let Prince Louis know that he was keeping watch over him.

Seeing the two interact, Kate chuckled, but also kissed Louis’ hand to let him know everything was all right.

When the Pageant ended with the much anticipated appearance from the Queen on the palace balcony, Louis was on his best behaviour, appraising the adoring crowds below with a solemn expression.
