THROWBACK photos of Jasmine Yarbrough, the girlfriend of Today host Karl Stefanovic have revealed the model was just like any other 23-year-old.

FOR the past six months, Karl Stefanovic’s new girlfriend Jasmine Yarbrough has found herself at the centre of intense media scrutiny over her relationship with the Today host but 10 years ago, the fashion designer didn’t seem to have a care in the world.

Throwback photos of the Brisbane-born designer have revealed that just like most 23-year-olds, Yarbrough didn’t mind a night on the town or pulling a silly face for the camera — just like her TV boyfriend.

The 33-year-old shoe designer, who launched her luxury shoewear brand Mara & Mine in 2013, was also clearly partial to dying her hair — showing off numerous hairstyles and colours over the years.

Most of the photos come from 2007 and picture the fashionista partying with friends and wearing fancy dress.

Yarbrough’s goofy faces for the camera are no doubt something her and Karl bonded over, considering the Today host’s on-camera and off-camera personality has established him as one of Australia’s most loveable larrikins.

Yarbrough went public with Stefanovic, who celebrated turning 43 yesterday, back in February after photos surfaced of the pair kissing on a luxury yacht in Sydney Harbour.

The couple well and truly confirmed they were a couple when they made their official debut at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in March.

Since then, they’ve been regularly photographed in and around Sydney — and even in Bora Bora when the pair secretly jetted to the island destination to spend time on James Packer’s yacht.

In Karl’s recent interview with Stellar Magazine, the TV host opened up about his relationship with Jasmine, which made headlines less than six months after he announced his divorce from his wife of 21 years and the mother to his three children Cassandra Thorburn.

“We are taking things really, really slowly,” Karl said of their relationship.

“I certainly did not expect to meet someone five months after I broke up with my wife. That was not planned, I did not know her before. I met her on a boat in Sydney,” he adds, confirming the story that the pair met on a boat cruise in December.

While Stefanovic said he and Yarbrough “have a really lovely relationship,” he’s also determined to not share anything publicly.

“I don’t think that’s fair on anyone involved. It was unexpected and lovely, but we’re going to try to keep a level of privacy to how we’re going and what we’re planning, especially considering I have three beautiful children who need to be taken into consideration,” he told Stellar.
