It has been billed as a luxury slice of paradise with a rumoured $20,000 per week price-tag.

Nicole Kidman and her family are understood to be staying at this multimillion-dollar, Spanish-style eco-mansion in Byron Bay, dubbed “The Range”.

It is believed the Oscar-winning Australian actor has rented the gated property for nearly five months while she is shooting Hulu drama Nine Perfect Strangers.

Kidman, 53, arrived in Byron Bay via private jet earlier this month with husband, country music super star Keith Urban, 52, and their daughters Sunday Rose, 12, and Faith Margaret, 9.

The pair also owned farm-to-table culinary landmark The Farm Byron Bay before recently selling it to celebrity publicans Stu Laundy and Fraser Short for a rumoured $16 million.

Situated between two neighbouring farms and fringed by macadamia trees, Kidman and Urban’s rented property features three separate dwellings – The Range Homestead, as well as The Barn Studio and The Cabin Inn.

The consciously-designed estate features 300-year-old terracotta tiles from Croatia, recycled railway sleepers, and repurposed Australian hardwood.

The light-filled main residence – modelled on a farmhouse – includes an island kitchen, a table made from recycled wood, a breezy open-air dining area, as well as a mineral pool and an outdoor bath made from an industrial wine barrel.

The rustic property has textured, neutral-coloured walls, a wood-fired oven, and an “open amphitheatre of a fire-pit”, according to a previous Vogue Living feature.

Its minimalist decor includes a beehive that has been transformed into a pendant light in the main bedroom, as well as timber fittings and shelving made from old roof trusses.

Kidman is shooting $100 million thriller Nine Perfect Strangers, based on Big Little Lies’ author Liane Moriarty’s best-selling novel of the same name, in the up-market coastal town.

The large-scale production also stars Melissa McCarthy, Boardwalk Empire’s Bobby Cannavale, Offspring star Asher Keddie and rising Australian actor, Samara Weaving.

Set in fictionalised wellness resort “Tranquillum”, Nine Perfect Strangers is being filmed at luxury retreat, Soma Byron Bay.

Kidman stars as Masha – the retreat’s owner – in the TV adaptation of Moriarty’s novel and also serves as an executive producer.
