Miley Cyrus will have to spend several weeks in silence following vocal cord surgery after she was hospitalised for tonsillitis last month, but Aussie beau Cody Simpson is sticking by her side.

Miley Cyrus will soon be giving us all the silent treatment.
The singer, 26, recently underwent vocal cord surgery after being hospitalised for tonsillitis last month, People reports.
Doctors discovered a separate issue with her vocal cords during her hospital stay, informing the “Wrecking Ball” singer that she would need surgery by the end of the year, followed by “several weeks of silence” while in recovery.
A source close to the start said she is “doing great and will be back and better than ever early next year.”
Boyfriend Cody Simpson posted a photo with his latest love that appeared to make reference to the surgery, captioning the pic “success.”
Cyrus has been spending a lot of time at home since her hospitalisation last month, first in Los Angeles, where Simpson is thought to have moved in with her and now at the family home in Nashville.
Her Instagram posts over the past few days reflect fun times with her loved ones at home, including two choregraphed dancing videos with sister Noah and Mum Tish. She also posted a video of her dancing with Simpson, who appears in the video shirtless.
They are dancing below a portrait of Dolly Parton hanging on the wall, who commented on the post, “Looks like I’m always watching!”
MILEY AND CODY ATTEND HER BROTHER’S WEDDING IN NASHVILLE
Things are getting serious between Miley Cyrus and Aussie music star Cody Simpson.
The US pop sensation brought Simpson has her date to her brother’s nuptials in Nashville, Tennessee.
Cyrus and Simpson matched in black outfits for the ceremony as they watched Braison, 25, and his partner Stella tie the knot at an outdoor, boho-style ceremony.
The Instagram-loving couple shared plenty of photos of the special day, with Cyrus captioning a series of snaps accompanied by a heart emoji: “My baby brother got married on the most stunning sunny Tennessee day standing on top of the same hills where we grew up playin.... I love you Braison. So happy for you & Stella.”
Their mum, Tish, also shared a heartfelt message, writing: “My beautiful boy married the love of his life yesterday. Knowing that you are happy means everything to me.”
Braison walked down the aisle in a black suit and tie that was paired with a patterned shirt while the bride showed off a stunning embellished lace gown with elegant train.
He proposed to Stella with an opal ring in November last year and announced the news on Instagram.
“She said yes,” he wrote. “My life has changed in so many amazing ways this year but the most amazing has been meeting and falling in love with you.”
“I love you with all my heart and I cannot wait to marry you @stylesofstella.”
MILEY AND CODY RETURN TO NASHVILLE
Just eleven months after Miley Cyrus wed Liam Hemsworth at her family’s Nashville home, the pop star has brought her new beau, Cody Simpson, back to the multimillion-dollar ranch.
In pictures and stories posted to Instagram by Miley’s sister Noah, Simpson and Cyrus can be seen playing with their phones and leaning against the same kitchen bench where Cyrus and Hemsworth stood in front of their wedding cake last year.
Simpson and Cyrus also cuddled up on the couch with one of Cyrus’ dogs in a story shared to Instagram. “He’s my baby,” Cyrus said of Simpson as she stroked his face affectionately.
Simpson also shared a video of himself outside on the farm atop a quad bike, gyrating suggestively as Miley laughs and says, “You are so f**king dumb,” before they go on a tour of Miley’s home town, sharing photos of the autumnal scenery and quaint decor.
Cyrus also shared a video in which Simpson is looking for her only to find that she is “hiding” in the washing machine.
While Simpson and Cyrus continue to cavort around and take selfies, Hemsworth appears to be focused on his career. He’s in Canada currently shooting a series called Dodge & Miles for new production company Quibi which will launch in 2020 and feature content from the likes of Steven Spielberg and Steven Soderbergh. Hemwsworth will play Dodge Maynard, a man with a terminal illness who agrees to take part in a deadly game to help provide for his pregnant wife and their unborn child. Christoph Waltz will also star in the series.
MILEY AND CODY GET RAUNCHY FOR HALLOWEEN
Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson put their romance out there on Halloween.
The couple, who dressed as Billy Idol and his ’80s flame Perri Lister, flaunted their PDA on Instagram in various videos that showed them making out and intimately dancing to Idol’s hit song “White Wedding.”
Cyrus, 26, helped transform the 22-year-old Australian crooner into the British rocker, captioning a series of photos that showed off the makeover, “makin up my man into baby billy idol!”
Cyrus captioned another series of photos that showed off their looks, “BILLY F–KIN IDOL LOVES PERRI F–KIN LISTER.”
The costumes even caught the eye of Idol himself. The 63-year-old gave his stamp of approval, sharing the couple’s photo on his Instagram page and writing, “Trick & Treat! Cheers Miley & Cody Repost @mileycyrus -BFI.”
Simpson and Cyrus’ relationship escalated quickly after she split from Kaitlynn Carter, following her separation from Liam Hemsworth.
The singer and Hemsworth’s divorce is ongoing.
The social media PDA comes as the rebuilding of Liam Hemsworth’s burnt-out home next door to the love nest of estranged wife Miley Cyrus and new boyfriend Cody Simpson is well underway.
The AU$10 million property in Malibu was wiped out by powerful wildfires last year, forcing the couple to move into Cyrus’s smaller home, which she bought for AU$3.6m.
Hemsworth left Cyrus’s house earlier this year when the couple split just months after getting married.
Now, he has begun the job of bringing the devastated property back to life after obtaining a building permit just weeks before he and Cyrus broke up - which brought their rebuilding plans to a halt.
But now Hemsworth is looking to get on with the job, obtaining a permit to excavate the property to prepare it for the rebuild, according to reports.
He bought his property in 2014, while Cyrus bought the house next door in 2016. When the couple reunited after a break, they decided to live together in his bigger property.
Cyrus took many of her favourite possessions with her, including a mini Hollywood sign and massive letters spelling out the word LOVE.
Aussie singer Cody Simpson revealed that he moved in with Miley at her Malibu home earlier this month.
Hemsworth is reportedly rebuilding his property - understood to be owned by him independent of Cyrus - on his own, while looking for a place to live in Australia near his brother Chris Hemsworth.
FANS PICK UP ‘CLUE’ THAT MILEY STILL HURTING
Miley Cyrus fans have picked up on a clue the US pop sensation is still healing from the break-up with her husband and partner of ten years, Liam Hemsworth.
In a recent post to Instagram stories, Cyrus is pictured sitting outside in the sun with her guitar.
Beside her is a copy of the book Becoming Supernatural by Dr Joe Dispenza.
The book is said to help readers “free yourself from the past by reconditioning your body to a new mind.”

The post comes after Cyrus suggested that Hemsworth was “evil” during a live video chat with her new beau, Australian singer Cody Simpson.
Cyrus copped flak for the chat in which she suggested that she thought she “had to be gay” because of her failed relationships with men.
“You’ve got to find a d — k that’s not a d — k you know? I always thought I had to be gay, because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true,” she said.
“There are good people out there that just happen to have d — ks. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this live.”
The comments were considered offensive to the LGBTQI community as they imply that sexuality is a choice and that Cyrus was “forced” to date women when it didn’t work out with men.
Cyrus later clarified her comments, saying, “I was talking sh—t about sucky guys but let me be clear, YOU don’t CHOOSE your sexuality.”

The selfie-loving singer also posted a new series of photos to Instagram.
Following provocative images posted on Monday in which she posed in front of the mirror in a sheer singlet and denim cut-offs, Cyrus shared a series of sultry black and white images showing off her new tattoo.
She had her tattoo artist go over an old tattoo of an avocado and turn it into a rose on her left tricep. It was her third new tattoo in the past week; she’s also added the number ‘92 (her birth year) under her ear and a heart with a knife through it on her right tricep.
