Jameela Jamil slammed Kim Kardashian for telling people with less family privilege to get off their arses and work.
“I think if you grew up in Beverly Hills with super successful parents in what was simply a smaller mansion … Nobody needs to hear your thoughts on success/work ethic,” Jamil wrote on Twitter in response to Kardashian’s business advice for women, Page Six reports.
“This same 24 hours in the day sh*t is a nightmare,” she added. “99.9 per cent of the world grew up with a VERY different 24 hours.”
The outspoken actress then took to Instagram to continue her thoughts on the wealthy family – who recently defended their blockbuster nine-figure deal for their new Hulu reality series, The Kardashians.
“They shouldn’t be asked about their secret to success,” Jamil wrote. “They shouldn’t answer those questions. It’s all obvious to everyone, and I hope nobody holds themselves to the standards of people who were raised by millionaires.”
Although Jamil conceded that they are a “super impressive family of businesswomen” and have “a genius manager in their mother as well as their own hard work and personal sacrifices,” she trashed the family for altering their photos and “misleading people” about their beauty claims.
“And a huge amount of money made from questionable diet/detox products and corsets,” she noted.
She concluded that the family should just “take the money, use it for good and chill the f**k out when lecturing others about grind and hustle. And learn how to brag without putting others down who have less.”

On Wednesday, Variety released a lengthy interview with the Kardashians about their upcoming show, in which Kim said that women should “Get your f***ing ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days.”
But she wasn’t the only one to catch flak for the comment, to which her sister Kourtney responded, “That’s so true.”
Fans flocked to social media to remind Kourtney that she often complained about working on their former series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Meanwhile, this is hardly the first time self-proclaimed “feminist-in-progress” Jamil has found herself at odds with the Kardashians.
Over the last several years, she’s publicly criticised them for promoting unrealistic body standards, not being forthcoming about the surgical work they’ve had done and endorsing potentially dangerous “diet” products.
In June 2020, Jamil vowed to stop calling out “harmed and deluded” Kim, claiming that she felt her years-long work was finally done.
Evidently, she had more to do.
