AS 2014 draws to a close, the battle for the most daring outfit of the year is heating up.

Albanian singer Bleona Qereti made headlines around the world when she rocked up to this weeks American Music Awards wearing a mesh dress which left little to the imagination.

But not to be outdone, Chinese born actor Bai Ling then rocked up to the Real Experimental Film Festival in LA wearing ... well ... not much.

The 48-year-old, yep, you read that right, arrived at the event with David Arquette, but all of the focus was on her black barely-there dress (can we even call it a dress?).

You might remember Ling from such films as The Crow, Wild Wild West and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Then again, you might not.

With a just over a month to go until the end of the year, can Ling and Qereti be outdressed ... or should that be underdressed?
