Kyle Sandilands has branded Meghan Markle an “imbecile” after the royal accused the British press of calling her children the “N-word”.
In an explosive interview for New York magazine’sThe Cut supplement, the Duchess of Sussex explained why she hated having to share family photos with the UK tabloids.
During her time as an active member of the Royal Family, the former actress was expected to release pictures of her now three-year-old son, Archie, to the press.
“Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child?” the 41-year-old told The Cut.
“You tell me how that makes sense and then I’ll play that game.”

During The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday, the shock jock and his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson weighed in on Meghan’s claims.
The KIIS FM presenters agreed it was time for the Duchess to move on from her feud with the UK press.
The radio duo also wondered how the royal could have learned newsrooms allegedly used racial insults, as she did not name names or identify her source.
“She needs to get over it. She’s an imbecile,” Sandilands scoffed.
Henderson spoke about the Suits alum’s complaints about having to provide photos of her children.
“If you’re joining the Royal Family, yes, they have these rules in place, and they have done for many, many years,” she said.
“You can’t come in and just go, ‘I don’t agree with your rules so I’m not going to do it’.
The two agreed they were sick of hearing Meghan’s “woe is me” stories about life as a frontline royal.
The radio personalities went on to defend the Royal Family, after Meghan alleged a member of the monarchy had concerns over their son Archie’s skin colour.
“I find that to be quite a normal family discussion. I don’t think that’s racist to wonder, ‘Oh, you’re black, you’re white, I wonder what colour the baby will be?’ That’s quite a normal thought,” Sandilands said.
“[Meghan] made it sound like it was an awful colonial type of diss towards the black person.”
Henderson agreed, saying she took the remark as an innocent “curiosity” that someone might have had about Archie’s appearance.
Meghan’s interview with The Cut sparked controversy.
In the article, the Duchess took a fresh swipe at the Royal Family, declaring that “just by existing” she and Prince Harry were “upsetting the dynamic” of the institution.
The former actress said that while other members of the royal household had previously been allowed to step back from official duties, they were barred from doing “that exact thing”.
Meghan also pointed a finger at the media for putting a wedge between her family members and her husband’s – including Prince Charles.
“Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in this process’. It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that’s his decision,” she said, adding that it would take “a lot of effort” to forgive the royals.
“I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive,” she continued.
“But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I’ve really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything.
“I have a lot to say until I don’t. Sometimes, as they say, the silent part is still part of the song.”
