Nicole Kidman stuns in sexy Vanity Fair cover shoot

Nicole Kidman’s risque Vanity Fair cover has been savaged with suggestions she’s been photoshopped. But there are dozens of recent photos showing the starlet looking super-fit.

Nicole Kidman 'deeply appreciative' of Oscar nomination

To whoever said Nicole Kidman couldn’t have those abs at her age — do your homework. The Aussie megastar’s new cover of Vanity Fair magazine broke the internet overnight with suggestions Kidman has been photoshopped or swapped for a body double — and mostly because of her age.

But there are dozens of recent photos of the 54-year-old at the beach and on red carpets showing off her super-fit look. Not to mention her running and pilates routines.

Vanity Fair isn’t commenting on the controversy and attempts to contact Kidman herself were unsuccessful as she is on set filming, but the actress is known for taking as many risks with magazine photography as she does with film choices.

In a cover shoot for our own Stellar magazine, she jumped into the pool unprompted in a designer gown — and it was the amazing photo that eventually won out.

The Vanity Fair shot has her in skimpy bra and miniskirt, which in itself attracted controversy. “No 54-year-old’s body looks like that, not even Nicole Kidman’s. Why are we still doing this s--t?” one user tweeted.

The Oscar-winner flashed her toned and tanned abs as she discussed her Academy Award-nominated role in Being The Ricardos.

Kidman opened up about the toll her acting roles take on her personally and revealed she had fallen ill after shooting miniseries Big Little Lies, in which she played an abuse survivor. “Parts of the body don’t know, a lot of the time, what the difference is (between an acting role and real life),” Kidman said. “I’ve started to understand a bit more to take care of yourself.”

While Kidman is nominated for Best Actress at this month’s Oscars for her performance as TV comedy legend Lucille Ball, she said she still doesn’t see herself as a movie star.

“My job is to stay feeling-centric, and emotional, and committed, and interested, and a seeker,” she said.
