Kim Kardashian has revealed she was battling Covid when she failed a key exam in her bid to become a lawyer.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star, 40, failed the “baby bar” exam, which she took at the same time she and her children battled the virus.

“I’m just like, stressing a little bit because my kids woke up and one of them had a runny nose, and no other symptoms. So, not a big deal,” Kardashian told E!’s cameras on the latest KUWTK episode.

It actually was a big deal. A statement from E! explained that: “Kim and the family tested positive for Covid. Production shut down for 14 days while the family and crew quarantined. Kim continued to film, self-shot”.

They were infected when Kardashian’s son, Saint, 5, caught Covid at school. “So, someone at school tested positive and my son was around them,” Kardashian said.

“Saint has Covid, and I’m just really worried about him. He was crying and coughing on me.”

Law student Kardashian had planned to study 12 hours per day in the lead up to the “baby bar” exam, even flying out her tutor.

“Taking care of my kids, obviously, comes first,” Kardashian said.

“I’m feeling pretty sh***y,” she said. “North and I kept feeling really sick. We took tests right before I went to bed, and when I woke up in the morning the tests, you know, came back positive.”

After sitting the exam, Kardashian explained: “If I don’t pass, I don’t care because I had Covid”.

“And if I pass, then it’s a f--king miracle and I don’t know how I did that.”

Later in KUWTK, Kardashian revealed she had actually failed the exam. “So, you guys, I did not pass the baby bar,” she told her sisters Kourtney and Khloé.

Speaking to camera, Kim said: “If you do law school the way that I’m doing it, it is a four-year program instead of your typical three-year program”.

“And after year one, you have to take the baby bar. This one, actually, is harder, I hear, than the actual bar.”

Page Six reported that the KKW Beauty founder scored 474 out of 560 on the test.

“I spent six weeks straight, 10 to 12 hours a day, studying,” Kardashian said.

“It was so important for me to take this, and to not pass gets your spirit down. It just makes you want to give up.”

After Kim told her sisters that she “didn’t fail by that much,” Kourtney, 42, noted that their late father, the lawyer Robert Kardashian, “would be really proud” of her “regardless”.

The Skims founder went on to express how she worried she would not “have time” to study for the test again due to her family and career commitments.

“I could try or I could just give up,” Kim said, adding that she needed to think about whether she should keep at her studies, or take time off.

In between studying for the California bar exam, Kim was actively involved in prison reform, lobbying ex-President Donald Trump for the pardoning of Alice Johnson and Chris Young.
