Robbie, who appears nude in The Wolf of Wall Street, would join other celebrities such as Pamela Anderson, Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Kim Kardashian and Elle MacPherson to have posed for Playboy.

When asked about Robbie's nude scenes in The Wolf of Wall Street, Hefner told Us Weekly that she was "very, very pretty."

"She should be in Playboy! Send her a message!" he said. "We're ready for her. She would be great."

"We always want the latest, most popular girl of the moment, and that changes week to week!" he said.

Robbie has opened up about her sex scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio, saying they weren't as sexy as they seemed.

"I got a million paper cuts on my back from all that money! It's not as glamorous as it sounds," she said.

Hefner, 87, meanwhile just celebrated his one-year anniversary with his wife Crystal, 27.

"It's wonderful. It's better than anything I could possibly imagine," he said of life with his third wife. "You know, I tried marriage twice before but there's no comparison. This is the real deal. And to find true love at this age? It's remarkable."
