AFTER a six year hiatus the former top Aussie model Gemma Ward is back in the spotlight after completely stepping away from public life following the tragic death of Heath Ledger.

It’s believed she’d been dating Ledger around the time of his overdose and was utterly devastated by his passing.

Scouted at only 14-years-old the waifish blonde with deep aqua eyes was on the supermodel fast-track as the youngest face ever to grace the cover of American Vogue and walking for the biggest catwalks around the world before her sudden exit.

Now at 27 and a mum to baby Naia the gorgeous blonde from Perth is ready to step back into the fashion spotlight, making her re-entrance on nothing less than Milan Fashion Week’s Prada show.

Ward has since opened up her Instagram and is showing off just how love-filled her new life with partner David Letts and baby Naia is.
