BEN from Friends is all grown up.

The role of Ross’s son was actually played by various actors, but when we think of Ben, we think of Cole Sprouse who played the character from 2000 — 2002.

Cole, who has a twin brother called Dylan, first started acting when he was just eight months old. He was seven when he landed the role of Ben, who Ross had with his ex-wife, Carol.

The brothers started with commercials and then made the move to TV, often sharing roles due to California’s child labour laws which prevent young actors from working long days.

The twins both appeared in the Adam Sandler movie Big Daddy in 1999 and in 2005 they got their own Disney TV show called The Suite Life of Zack and Cody which lasted three seasons.

Cole, who is now 21 years old, hasn’t appeared in anything since 2011. Instead he’s been studying and was last year named an International Ambassador of the Koyamada Foundation, which aims to enhance friendly relations between the youth of America and the Japan.
