Claims Meghan Markle is set to release her own memoir

Meghan Markle is reportedly planning her own tell-all book as more details about Prince Harry’s “damaging” memoir emerge.

Prince Harry will be “tough” on Prince William in his upcoming book — but will shy away from criticising King Charles, according to a publishing insider.

It comes amid reports that Meghan Markle is planning on writing her own tell-all book.

The Duke of Sussex’s bombshell memoir Spare, which is set to be released on January 10, may permanently damage his relationship with his estranged brother Prince William for good, The Sunday Times reports.

The California-based royal will examine the “highs and lows” of his extraordinary life in the ghostwritten memoir, including his bitter split from the royal family after marrying Ms Markle.

The book is expected to contain more details about Prince Harry’s rift with his brother, but is likely to let King Charles off lightly, The Sunday Times reports.

A source told The Sunday Times: “Generally, I think the book [will be] worse for them than the royal family is expecting.

“Everything is laid bare. Charles comes out of it better than I had expected, but it’s tough on William, in particular, and even Kate gets a bit of a broadside.

“There are these minute details, and a description of the fight between the brothers. I personally can’t see how Harry and William will be able to reconcile after this.”

Prince Harry will also explore his grief over the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana.

The source added: “The overall impression is that this is a man who has never recovered from the trauma of his mother dying so young, and then along comes Meghan and he projects on to her a parallel with Diana.”

In reports that will have the royal family bracing for more drama, Ms Markle is thought to be writing her own tell-all memoir, The Sun reports.

A source close to the couple told OK she “is contemplating getting entirely candid about her time in the royal limelight, considering crafting a memoir of her own”.

They added: “She fully intends to write this book and leave no stone unturned.”
