Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky are expecting twins

HE plays a superhero on the big screen and now he'll have to learn to be a superdad in real life, with the news that he and his wife are expecting twins.

CHRIS Hemsworth and his Spanish actor wife Elsa Pataky are to become parents to twins, according to a new report.

The couple announced the pregnancy late in 2013, and editors at Spain's Hola! magazine are now reporting Pataky is expecting a double arrival.

The Thor star and his wife already have their hands full with their daughter India Rose who was born in 2012.

"She's great," said Hemsworth about his daughter on The Ellen show late last year.

"She's so physical. She's been kicking me in the head lately. Everything she grabs a hold of, it's just about destroying it."

Definitely sounds like Thor's child.
