Another week, another awards ceremony in Hollywood and this time stars are gathering for the Critics Choice Awards.
The glitzy ceremony is being held at Santa Monica’s historic venue Barker Hangar today, with Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie, Jennifer Lopez and Brad Pitt among the big name nominees.
And while A-list attendees are vying for the top gongs, we’re really just in it for the spectacle that is the red carpet, which now available to stream on Foxtel.
Here are the best and worst looks.
Zendaya, nominated for Euphoria, was the fashion frontrunner in an unusual electric pink gown, taking “figure-hugging” to a whole new level with bright boob armour made by designer Tom Ford, which costs $15,000.
The young star has also styled her hair in trendy braids.
Nicole Kidman glided in and we’re sad to say, her dress was a bit snooze. She looked beautiful though, and was also nominated for her exceptional work in Big Little Lies.
Jennifer Lopez, ageless as always in a tight nude frock with glistening details.
Anna Hathaway was up there with the best dressed in this gorgeous golden gown with relaxed sleeves and tight skirt.
Charlize Theron had a business meeting afterward.
Olivia Wilde is so stunning it’s actually painful to look at her, but this dress is a flop.
Australian Sarah Snook of Succession fame giving vamp vibes.
Take a bow, Billy Porter. The fashion icon was painted with butterfly tattoos, sporting a green strapless paintsuit and we were HERE for it.
Rising star Joey King rocked up draped in tin foil.
Jokes aside, she actually looked unreal in this unusual dress.
Best Actress winner Renee Zellweger was more high school graduation than high fashion.
Green was the colour of the night, with Kristen Bell leading the charge in what we can immediately tell is the comfiest outfit ever.
Kate Beckinsale. No words.
Rachel Brosnahan, we’re sorry, but this was ill-fitting and quite frankly, hideous.
GLOW’s Alison Brie showed how to pull off orange.
Laura Dern also opted for the shade.
Mandy Moore looked better than ever in a tailored black pantsuit.
Brienne of Tarth was back on the horse after lothario Jaime Lannister left her crying in the cold in nothing but a sheet.
Look at her 2020 glow up.
Little Women’s Florence Pugh led the silver sequins trend.
Golden Globe Best Actor winner Joaquin Phoenix with his sister Rain. Not that there has ever been any doubt, but we’d put our lives on the fact they’re related.
Once Upon a Time’s Margaret Qualley was underwhelming in this ‘conservative girl going slightly rogue’ dress.
Best Actress nominee Lupita Nuyong’o for Us as gorgeous as she is talented in brown leather.
Red carpet veteran Christina Applegate looked classic in a black gown, with an off-centre boat necline, slim fit and mini train, which she’s paired with red lips and nails.
Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale was a breath of fresh air in a sweeping mint green gown, but the black bow belt and scattered dangling crystals look like they were added by an excitable toddler at the last minute.
The hot Fleabag priest Andrew Scott won the lads fashion arrivals.
Model and actress Lydia Hearst triggering our sweet cravings with her Liquorice allsorts dress.
British actress Annabelle Wallis, who you’d know from Peaky Blinders and The Mummy, was ravishing in this bedazzling number.
Carrying on with silver sequins, Mj Rodriguez from Pose was fierce in this jaw-dropping frock.
Former Disney star AJ Michalka was one of the first to arrive, and she went with key lime pie chic.
Actress Karen Fukuhara was edgy in this straight shoulder white dress with high leg slits.
