Allan Border Medal red carpet: All the fashion from cricket’s night of nights
STEVE Smith was the big winner at cricket’s night of nights, but the WAGs stole the show at the Allan Border Medal.

Don't miss out on the headlines from Red Carpet. Followed categories will be added to My News.
THERE is nothing like a classy cricket-loving chick.
And there they were, in all their red carpet, rain-sodden Sydney glory as they made their way to the Aussie cricket world’s answer to the Logies and the Brownlows.
While sensational Steve Smith took home the well-deserved big medallion (the Allan Border medal) some of the wives, girlfriends and divine female cricket players took their fashion cues from the current film awards season.
There were slashes, low necklines, leg splits, sheer lace, lots of red and deep burgundy, metallics and white, but all were worn with ‘taste’ in mind.
Hair styles were simple, loose and beautifully groomed with make-up all running along that same understated and elegant line.

Kyly Clarke was spectacular in a simple sheath designed by leading couturier Steven Khalil.
Meanwhile the partner of the night’s big winner Steve Smith was Danielle Willis (above) who looked elegant in a cream dress with just a hint of skin on show.
Candice Falzon wore her cream, silk-satin dress with signature strength and style – but what I loved was her sweeping fringe. Very cool.
The beautiful baby bump on Lee Watson (nee Furlong) was exquisitely enhanced in a gown from George Elsissa.
Another well deserved fashion mention should go to Amy Griffith – Aaron Finch’s partner – who rocked a metallic frock that shimmered down the ruby rug.
Erin Holland, the former Miss World contestant and partner to Ben Cutting, knocked it into the crowd for a six.
Erin chose a Pallas Couture red, silk gown with cut-outs in all the right places, but not for one minute did it scream trashy. Instead, it just screamed sexy.
Same went for Kayla Dickson in black dress with sheer panelling from design house Oglia Lora Couture.
Overall, it was the red carpet that rocked with stylish women who moved in all the right places.
I loved it!
