Tennis star Nick Kyrgios’ glamorous lady friends identified after London nightclub party

THE glamorous party girls Nick Kyrgios took clubbing in London say they are all just good friends and their big night out was completely innocent.

NICK Kyrgios’ glamorous party pals have been identified as up-and-coming tennis players Monique Belovukovic from Australia and her British friend Chelsea Samways.

News Corp can reveal the two leggy women photographed partying all night with Kyrgios after he retired hurt from Wimbledon are a pair of 18-year-olds just starting out in professional tennis.

The pair was photographed with Kyrgios outside the Cirque le Soir nightclub in London’s Soho district at 3am on Tuesday, and later returned with Kyrgios to the house he has rented in Wimbledon with his parents, well after the sun had come up.

Ms Belovukovic told Mail Online that she and Kyrgios had been friends for seven years.

“We are just friends, we all know he has a girlfriend and no one wants to mess that up,’ she said.

Asked about the now-infamous clubbing trip, she said: “We were all just having a good time, we entered (the nightclub) as friends and left as friends, nothing more. It was all completely innocent.”

Kyrgios’ physiotherapist Will Maher was also among the group which spent Monday night and the early hours of Tuesday morning at the infamous Cirque nightclub, where hip-hop artist Travis Scott performed.

Neither of the women, who are believed to be friends of Australian player Matt Reid, was taking part in the Wimbledon tournament.

They are both accomplished junior players.

Blonde Belovukovic now appears to live in Nice, in the south of France, and has peppered her social media accounts with glamorous shots of her in party dresses and bikinis, travelling around Europe.

On Thursday, she posted a picture of herself with a cool drink outside the Bentall Centre shopping mall at Kingston-upon-Thames in the UK, with the comment “oh that detox slushy.’

Brunette Samways, a Brit, republished one of News Corp’s photographs of the pair on their night out with Kyrgios on her Instagram page, with the comment “midnight blues’’.

Samways seems a fan of the celebrity hangout Cirque le Soir, posting pictures of herself there on three previous occasions in the past three months.

Kyrgios, the mercurial 22-year-old star player from Canberra, sparked controversy with his all-night party which came hours after he retired due to a hip injury two sets down to Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the first round on Monday.

He was photographed leaning on walls and talking to the two young women, holding an unlit cigarette, and hanging out a car window as the night progressed.

Kyrgios’ girlfriend of more than a year, the 24-year-old Croatian-Australian player Ajla Tomljanovic, was not seen in the photographs.

It’s thought she and Kyrgios left several hours later to visit Croatia, as they did last year after Wimbledon.
