Sneaky photo proves big Kate Middleton rumour

The future Queen was the subject of a very unexpected report over the weekend – and a candid photo has confirmed it.

Kate Middleton has been spotted at a music festival.

A lone candid picture of Kate Middleton has emerged, days after reports she was spotted secretly partying at a music festival in the UK.

The future Queen looked relaxed and happy as she held a cocktail and chatted happily with friends at the Houghton Festival in Norfolk, England, while dressed casually in an off-the-shoulder top and sneakers over the weekend.

Kate, 41, was unknowingly snapped by a fellow attendee, who apparently shared the image with friends.

It was then posted on social media by X user @JazzWild_ on Tuesday, along with the caption: “One of the boys snapped Kate Middleton @ Houghton.”

Kate enjoyed a cocktail and chatted with friends.

While the Princess of Wales’ decision to attend the “very classy, upper-class” 24-hour dance festival may appear a bit random – it was held on the estate of her longtime friends, the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley, David and Rose, whom she was dining with at the time.

According to The Standard, it was another guest’s idea to head over and join the fun.

“Kate was hesitant, but eventually agreed and attended with a large security detail,” a source told the outlet, adding that she was seen “ordering spicy margaritas and eating affogato throughout the evening.

Another source elaborated to the Daily Mail, admitting Kate was “nervous” about going.

“After dinner, one of the guests suggested that Catherine go to the festival,” the insider told the outlet.

“Catherine was nervous about the idea, but after much discussion with her protection officers, she went with lots of security. William wasn’t there.”

Houghton Festival was first launched in 2017 by DJ Craig Richards and it is hailed as Britain’s only 24-hour music festival.

The event runs from Thursday to Sunday and attracts crowds upwards of 12,000 people. Two-hundred artists perform throughout the event, across 13 stages.
