Prince Harry has again opened up about his “healing journey” and revealed he will attend the Invictus Games next month in a new video posted online.

The Duke of Sussex conceded that he is both “excited and nervous” a month out from the event, which is his personal project.

The Invictus Games will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany, from September 9-16.

But in a video message recorded in his Montecito mansion before he headed to Asia earlier this week and released online on Thursday local time, Prince Harry lauded competitors for taking the next step on their “healing journey”.

“You’re all on different parts of your healing journey’ before adding: ‘We all are – we always will be,’” he said in the message.

“Good luck for the remaining few weeks, have fun, look forward to it. Being nervous is a good thing. We have 21 nations this year and can’t wait to have every continent represented. Except Antarctica – but still working on that,” he continued.

“Thank you for your service, for your commitment, your determination in getting to this point. We are going to have a lot of fun and yeah, look forward to it. “We’re ready to host you. It’s going to be the best games ever, the best games yet.’”

Prince Harry will reportedly be in Dusseldorf for the duration of the games.

Meghan Markle, who did not travel with the Duke to Asia, is expected to attend around half of the event, including Prince Harry’s speech at the closing ceremony.

MEGHAN PARTIES AT TAY TAY CONCERT

Meghan Markle reportedly jumped out of her chair at one of Taylor Swift‘s LA shows this week – but noticeably didn’t snap a photo with the singer.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, attended the pop sensation’s show at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles on Tuesday night local time, Page Six reports.

As Swift launched into her Fearless era — telling the excited crowd, “Let’s go back to high school!” — Meghan reportedly jumped up out of her chair to sing along to You Belong with Me.

The former Suits actress was with her British friend Lucy Fraser, who featured prominently in the Sussexes’ tell-all Netflix series.

However, the Duchess of Sussex, who was enjoying the girls night while Prince Harry is in Singapore, didn’t have her photo taken with the singer like many of the other celebs.

Meghan‘s fashion designer friend Misha Nonoo was spotted arriving at the stadium with Taylor’s ex-BFF Karlie Kloss and the group were said to have been sat in the audience.

However, it’s not known where the Duchess was sitting at the concert.

The mother-of-two’s reported appearance comes two months after Swift allegedly turned down a personal initiation to appear on the Duchess’ podcast, which has since been cancelled by Spotify.

The pop singer was asked by Meghan herself to appear on Archetypes, but she declined through her representative, the Wall Street Journal reported.

PRINCE WILLIAM DECLARED AMERICA’S FAVOURITE FIGURE

Prince William has been declared America’s favourite public figure, despite his younger brother Prince Harry living in the US with his family.

In the survey conducted by polling giant Gallup, US voters were asked who their favourite 15 public figures on the world stage were.

The Prince of Wales reigned supreme, beating the likes of US President Donald Trump and his successor Joe Biden.

Gallup admittedly noted their surprise over the list, with Prince William a favourite among both Republicans and Democrats.

“The much higher ratings he receives from older Americans and women may tie back to their affection for his mother and feelings of empathy towards him over her death,” Gallup‘s director of US social research, Lydia Saad, said.

“The US may need to look beyond its borders to find public figures that a majority of Americans feel good about.”

According to the poll commissioned by Newsweek in March, Prince Harry’s popularity had dropped 48 points in the US since December 2022.

After Prince William, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Jill Biden, King Charles and Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts rounded out the top five.

CALLS FOR ‘INTERVENTION’ WITH WILLIAM

Prince William Prince Harry are said to be no closer to mending their ongoing rift, according to a report in Fox News.

The brothers are both heading to Singapore to promote their causes, but royal watchers shouldn’t expect a heartfelt reunion anytime soon.

The Duke of Sussex left Tokyo for Singapore and is saddling up for the 2023 Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup in Singapore on Sunday.

Prince William is expected to visit the island republic on November 7 for the 2023 Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony.

“I’m sure everybody managed those diaries to make sure there was no crossover whatsoever,” True Royalty TV co-founder Nick Bullen told Fox News.

“Harry hasn’t even been going to old friends’ weddings. So, those moments where they might bump into each other aren’t happening, let alone the choreographed moments.”

Mr Bullen said King Charles wants his sons to repair their relationship.

“I’m told that the king continues to reach out to Harry and Meghan and that the door is always open,” said Mr Bullen.

“I think, probably, he more than anybody, wants to repair the relationships. We all know things are still very tense between William and Harry, but I think the King does want to repair [things]. … There is probably an open invitation to visit the king whenever they can. And he would love to see them.”

Prince William and Prince Harry, who were once close, have been estranged since the Sussexes made their royal exit in 2020.

During the king’s coronation in May, the brothers were never seen speaking or even acknowledging each other. After the ceremony, Prince Harry headed swiftly back to California.

“I think there is so much water under the bridge between William and Harry that how they intend to find that common ground is beyond most royal commentators,” Mr Bullen said.
“I think there needs to be a brokerage from another person. There almost needs to be an intervention. It requires both parties to be willing to come to the table.”

“But I think it’s going to be very difficult to see how this is going to happen,” Mr Bullen said.
“People have such entrenched views. [During] the coronation, the seating plan was carefully worked out [so] that they wouldn’t have to have an interaction. … I think it will require big apologies from both sides. But whether they’re going to come or not, I think it’s pretty unlikely.”

In an interview on US TV earlier this year, Prince Harry said that if his mother Princess Diana were alive, the brothers wouldn’t have reached such a tumultuous point in their relationship.

“We wouldn’t have got to this moment,” Prince Harry said.

“It’s impossible to say where we would be now, where those relationships would be now, but there is no way that the distance between my brother and I would be the same.”
