‘Where’s Kate?:’ Princess’ uncle grilled on UK TV

Princess Catherine’s controversial uncle has opened up about his absent niece while appearing on Britain’s Celebrity Big Brother but sister Carole Middleton is said to be “furious”.

Princess Catherine’s controversial uncle Gary Goldsmith has revealed his royal niece is getting “the best care in the world” as he discussed her recovery on British Celebrity Big Brother.

But Goldsmith’s sister, Princess Catherine mother Carole Middleton, is said to be “furious” as her brother continues to speakpublicly about the health issues surrounding her daughter.

According to a report in The Sun, the controversial contestant spoke about his niece and the wider Royal Family after being questioned by his housemates.

He discussed the care she has been receiving since undergoing abdominal surgery in January and also shared his thoughts on the relationship between warring brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry.

In an episode that has just aired in Britain, reality TV star Ekin-Su Culculoglu asked Goldsmith: “Where’s Kate?”

“Because she doesn’t want to talk about that, the last thing I’m going to do is … there’s a kind of code of etiquette,” Goldsmith said.

“If it’s announced, I’ll give you an opinion.”

He added: “I spoke to her mum, my sister, she’s getting the best care in the world.

“And all the family’s done is put the wagons round and look after family first before anything else.

“They put a statement out and just said, ‘She’s taking some time to (recuperate) and will see you in Easter’.”

Ekin-Su then asked: “I’ve heard mixed things about Kate and I don’t want to make a comment, but whatever it is, do you want her to come back?”

“She’ll be back, of course she will,” replied Goldsmith.

There has been rampant speculation online surrounding the royal’s whereabouts after she was hospitalisedinJanuary for two weeks.

Conspiracy theories circulated after Prince William bowed out of a memorial service last week, where he was expected to give a reading.

While Kensington Palace would not comment further on Prince William’s reasoning, it said Princess Catherine was currently “doing well”.

The royal mum-of-three was seen earlier this week for the first time since her hospital stay.

She was spotted in the passenger seat as mum Carole Middleton drove her in an Audi near Windsor Castle.

She was wearing sunglasses and appeared to be smiling slightly.

Goldsmith previously said on the show conspiracy theorists “should leave her alone right now”.

KATE’S UNCLE ACCUSES MEGHAN OF ‘CREATING DRAMA’

Princess Catherine’s uncle has predicted Prince Harry will return to the UK and the royal family in a series of fiery comments made about the Prince and his wife Meghan Markle.

Gary Goldsmith entered the Celebrity Big Brother house as a contestant, which aired in the UK on Monday night, local time.

The 58-year-old also claimed Prince Harry and William’s relationship changed when Meghan entered their lives.

Housemates Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh were quick to quiz Mr Goldsmith about the royal deserters Harry and Meghan.

“So I have an opinion that Harry was really, really really loved and when they were a threesome, so Kate, William and Harry they got really comfortable together,” Mr Goldsmith said.

“And then suddenly there’s an extra dynamic that comes in, puts a stick in the spokes and creates so much drama that I don’t genuinely think is there, and rewrites the history, saying they’re unhappy with us and I just don’t think that’s fair.”

“I mean you can’t throw your family under the bus in such a dramatic style, then write books about it and expect to be invited round for Christmas.”

Walsh then asked Mr Goldsmith, who is brother to Prince Catherine’s mum Carole Middleton, how he has coped with finding fame through his link to the royals.

“I didn’t vote for it, it happened to me, and then suddenly there’s a spotlight on you,” he said.

“They call me the buncle! Have you heard of a buncle? Bad uncle, apparently every family has them.”

“It’s difficult to get hold of Kate at the best of times, and she’s got children and I love the fact that she’s putting family first.”

It comes as Mr Goldsmith blasted Prince Harry earlier for throwing the royal family “under the bus”, while defending his niece over claims she was the “royal racist”.

On the sidelines of the TV reality show, he described his royal niece as “beautiful” and insisted he could never do anything to upset her, while branding the racism claims against her as “bull****”.

“She’s beautiful on the outside, but more beautiful on the inside and really is a doting mum … so the way the monarchy is moving, it’s family-centric,” Mr Goldsmith said of his niece Kate,” he told The Sun.

“That’s why I got so upset with Harry and Meghan because you don’t put a stick into that spoke and reinvent history.

“I’ve got pretty miffed when they had a pop at my beautiful niece who couldn’t say anything for herself.”

“I think everyone felt the same about how much did we love Harry and then throwing your family under the bus just seemed inappropriate, especially what was happening with the Queen. I just thought it was totally unnecessary.”

The royals and Princess Catherine’s parents were believed to be furious amid fears he could reveal royal secrets on the show.

Mr Goldsmith also hit out at claims that Catherine was a “royal racist”.

In the Dutch translation of his book Endgame, writer Omid Scobie alleged that King Charles and the Princess of Wales had asked Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle what colour their then unborn son Archie’s skin might be.

“It’s absolute bull***t and I didn’t hide my feelings very well when I was offered the opportunity to say something, I just thought I’d say it as I saw it,” Goldsmith said.

“I did think I caught the tone of nation.”
