Meghan Markle has made a brief – but affectionate – cameo in her husband’s new Netflix show, Polo.

The Duchess of Sussex popped up in the final episode of Prince Harry’s docu-series, released on Tuesday, in footage shot during the Sentabale Polo Challenge in April.

Meghan was joined by her friend Serena Williams in cheering on Harry as he took part in the game at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Florida. They were later seen packing on the PDA, sharing a sweet kiss for the cameras after the duke was presented with a trophy.

The five-episode series follows the glamorous lives of polo stars and their families as they compete in the US Open.

While Harry is an active member in the polo circuit, he stayed mostly behind the scenes on the production, serving as an executive producer alongside Meghan.

Polo showrunner Miloš Balać recently opened up about collaborating with the royal couple, telling People magazine that they were very “hands-on”.

”They were wonderful. They were extremely hands-on. They really had a vision for trying to get polo to be accessible to a wider audience,” he explained.

“I think I spoke to them before I ever went to a polo match and it was [Meghan] who really prepped me for how wonderfully casual polo can be.”

Harry himself previously spoke to the publication about his new series, describing it as a peek at the “grit behind the glamour”.

“This series offers audiences an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look into the passion and determination driving some of the world’s elite polo players, revealing the grit behind the glamour,” he said.

“We’re proud to showcase the true depth and spirit of the sport — and the intensity of its high-stakes moments.”

The Sussexes’ company, Archewell Productions, first revealed details of the show in April when it was reported that both Harry and Meghan were each working on nonfiction projects as part of their multi-year Netflix deal, reportedly worth around $150 million.

The other show, currently being worked on by Meghan, will focus on “cooking, gardening and friendship”.

The couple previously released the highly successful Harry & Meghan docu-series in 2022, which delved into their relationship and reasons for quitting royal life, and the lesser-known Live to Lead and Heart of Invictus.

They are also reportedly working on an adaptation of best-selling novel Meet Me At The Lake after reportedly buying the rights for more than $3 million.
