Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett’s girlfriend has announced their split, just one week after sharing loved-up photos for their one year anniversary.

Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett has abruptly split from his TV presenter girlfriend, just days after they marked their one-year anniversary in loved-up photos.
UK personality Hayley Palmer, 42, took to her Instagram story to announce she’d broken up with The Chase Australia star, 58, suggesting she was left heartbroken.
“It is with regret I announce that myself and Mark have gone our separate ways. We had the best year together, and I truly wish him all the very best for the future,” Palmer wrote.
“Off I go to listen to Taylor Swift,” she added, finishing off the post with a broken heart emoji.
The couple met in October 2022 at the National Television Awards in the UK, before striking up a relationship a few months later.
Their split comes after the pair celebrated their one-year anniversary on May 17, in which they both posted photos celebrating the occasion at the beach where they shared their first date.
However, Labbett hinted distance was causing difficulty in their relationship during a TV interview on ITV’s Loose Women earlier this month.
“The difficult thing is, we live quite a bit apart. Obviously I live up in Sheffield, Rotherham, she’s a Chelsea girl,” Labbett said.
“We tend to look at our diaries and when we can sync up together, and so the good news is we see each other every few weeks but we make the most of it when we’re together so you get the best of both worlds.”
“We get excited when we see each other, which is really nice,” Palmer added.
Labbett was previously married to Katie Labbett for seven years, with the former couple sharing one child, son Lawrence.
Their marriage hit the rocks in 2019 when it emerged Katie, who is 27 years Labbett’s junior, had been having an affair.
A few days later, Labbett sensationally revealed the pair were actually second cousins – which they earlier figured out a few months into their blossoming relationship back in 2012.
After attempting to have an open marriage following news of Katie’s affair, the duo officially split in 2020, with Katie going on to continue dating Scott Bate – the man she was unfaithful with.
“When Katie first came clean to me about her boyfriend, I’d had an inkling,” Labbett told The Sun at the time of their split.
“But right from the start, my attitude was quite pragmatic – this was spilt milk, what could we do about the situation to make it OK?
“We had a family. We couldn’t just throw that away lightly. There were other considerations.
“But COVID-19 provided the perfect storm. My mental health suffered and the differences in our ages became magnified.
“With Katie seeing Scott after lockdown, it’s got to the point where I realise it’s better for us to go our separate ways and remain friendly, without the stress factor of living together.”
