NICOLE Richie is taking full credit for the burgeoning romance between her brother-in-law Benji Madden and close mate, Cameron Diaz.
“I’m going to take responsibility for everything!” Richie joked on US chat show Watch What Happens Live when host Andy Cohen asked if she set the two up.
Asked by an audience member whether she’d been on a double date with the two, and if she approved of their relationship, Richie said: “I approve of anything that’s going to make Benj happy. I am a devoted sister-in-law.”
Richie, who has a daughter and a son with Joel Madden, said it’s all about the love.
“I’m happy for anyone who is happy, and I want everyone to be surrounded with love.”
Diaz, it seems, concurs, telling People magazine that “with Benji it’s about being happy and taking things as they come”.
Workwise, things are hotting up for the star, as her latest reality show, Candidly Nicole, gets set to debut.
