NICOLE Kidman has made US Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon blush after revealing she “liked” him in one of the most excruciating interviews ever.

THIS could be Nicole Kidman’s most awkward TV interview ever.

The Australian actor has left US tonight show host Jimmy Fallon blushing and lost for words when she revealed she “liked” him, arranged through a friend to meet him, but all he did was “put on a video game” and not talk.

“I don’t know if you remember this but we’ve met before,” Fallon said as he started to interview with Kidman on The Tonight Show.

Kidman replied: “Oh I remember”.

Fallon added: “Do you remember this? This was really embarrassing for me”, to which Kidman responded: “I have not seen you since then, right? No.”

She went on to tell Fallon, “I just remember I liked you”.

Then a red-faced and clearly shocked Fallon said, “Wait, what?”

Fallon recounted that his friend Rick had called him saying that he was with Kidman and she wanted to meet him, which Fallon assumed was “to be in Bewitched or something like that”.

But Kidman said their mutual friend actually told her: “Oh Jimmy wants to meet you and you could go over to his apartment ... and I’m single and like, okay, cool,” Kidman said.

Fallon said: “Wait, what are you talking about?”

Kidman said she walked into Fallon’s New York apartment and he was wearing a baseball cap and “wouldn’t talk, you didn’t say anything”.

“And I’m like, okay ... and then you put a video game on ... and I’m like, ‘this is so bad’. It was bad,” Kidman said.

Fallon became so embarrassed while Kidman was recounting the story on The Tonight Show that he hid under his desk, buried his head in his hands, and even ended up lying on the couch, while Kidman stepped into the host’s seat.

Kidman didn’t hold back about their failed date (if you can call it that).

“You didn’t talk at all and so after about an hour and a half I thought, he has no interest, this is so embarrassing,” Kidman said.

“And I kind of left and went, okay no chemistry ... and then I was like, maybe he’s gay?”

Fallon said Kidman, who is now married to country singer Keith Urban, had “made a much better decision” by hooking up with Urban, who Fallon said “is so much cooler than I am”.

Still in shock, Fallon said: “I can’t believe I dated Nicole Kidman. This is fantastic ... one of the most awkward moments ever.”
