Fisher has joined the cast of the blockbuster movie series as Bridget’s bohemian new neighbour.

The star, who shares three children with Baron Cohen, is moving on with her life after the pair shocked the entertainment world by announcing their plans to divorce in 2023.

The star recently fronted Air New Zealand’s latest Australian campaign, starring in a cheeky ad as a single woman who flirts with a single Kiwi father after befriending his daughter on a flight.

Last October, Fisher sold her $1-million, two-bedroom apartment in Sydney’s leafy Woollahra, which she originally purchased in 1995 as a teenager during her Home and Away years.

Announcing their split in 2023, she and Baron Cohen shared a quirky photo of themselves in tennis outfits and wrote, “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our rackets down”.

The pair said they “have always prioritised our privacy and have been quietly working through this change.”

They also said they “forever share in our devotion and love for our children”.

The announcement came after allegations made about Baron Cohen by Rebel Wilson, who starred with him in the 2016 movie Grimsby.

Earlier this month, Fisher shared on Instagram that she had celebrated the new year at a retreat in Switzerland where she had enjoyed “inspiring treatments for the spirit and soul”.

“Every kind of therapy cocooned in warmth and care — the kindest hands. Everything you repress just comes out, all at once,” the star wrote.

In an earlier post, Fisher appeared to hint at her tumultuous year, saying she was “ending 2024 with gratitude” as she thanked her loved ones for their care and support.

She wrote: “For my family and old friends who have supported and loved me, to the new friends who have opened their hearts and homes to me and my children and to those who keep shooting me texts to check-in. I love you all and wish you the happiest 2025.”
