Rocker Gavin Rossdale has once again flaunted his romance with his singer girlfriend Xhoana X, who holds an uncanny resemblance to his ex-wife, Gwen Stefani.
The new couple continue to enjoy their Mexican vacation, stripping down for another beach day in Cabo San Lucas.
The Bush frontman, 58, rocked black and red board shorts for the outing, while the 35-year-old Albanian musician wore a sexy black string bikini set off with red lipstick – a signature look akin to Stefani.
They brought the PDA from the waves to the sand, sharing a sweet moment together as they relaxed on the lounge chairs, with Xhoana – whose real name is Xhoana Xheneti – on his lap.
Although the pair have been reportedly dating on the down low since last year, they only took their relationship Instagram-official in March, when Rossdale posted a photo of them out to dinner.
“Hey finally got to have a birthday dinner with my girl @xhoana_x here’s to a year filled with magic for you,” he captioned the snap.
The following month, the musicians made their red carpet debut at the iHeartRadio Music Awards at the Dolby Theatre in LA.
“Fun night in hollywood for the @iheartradio awards!” Rossdale captioned an Instagram post from his night out.
“Saw some good friends. Watched some Excellent Performances. Lots of good music. @justintimberlake !!! Go @greenday.”
Rossdale and Stefani, 54, were married for 13 years before their split in 2015. They share three sons together: Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 10. The guitarist is also dad to daughter Daisy, 35, with ex Pearl Lowe.
Just two months ago, Rossdale opened up about his divorce to Stefani.
Speaking on the Amy and T.J. Podcast, hosted by former Good Morning America news anchors Amy Robach and T. J. Holmes, the rocker described the breakdown of his marriage as his “clearest and simplest shame”.
“I never thought I’d ever get divorced. So there’s a simple shame in my life,” he said of their split, which was amid rumours he cheated on the No Doubt singer with their nanny.
The worst thing about their situation is the broken home they had created for their three kids, he said.
“I feel bad for my kids, that’s it. That’s the overriding thing,” he admitted. “If I could be the most honest, that would be the most profound thing of, like, I wish I could have just figured out a way to not have that in their lives.”
“It wasn’t fun for me to be from a broken home,” added Rossdale, whose parents were both married three times each. “I think in a way it gave me a career. So I don’t mind ’cause I turned it around to sort of an interesting career path. But it can be quite debilitating for kids.”
Stefani is now married to country music star Blake Shelton, 47. The duo, who have been together since late 2015, will celebrate their third wedding anniversary in July.
