Fans are losing it over a small unexpected detail in a new picture Chris Hemsworth shared in his mansion near Byron Bay.

Chris Hemsworth has shared a series of pictures to Instagram showing off furniture in his home near Byron Bay – but an unrelated detail in the final picture has unexpectedly caught his fans’ attention.

The Australian actor was plugging his mate’s work, who handmade pieces of wooden furniture from recycled raw materials.

In the sixth picture he can be seen leaning against a wall in front of an arched door with the designer, Lee Brennan.

While the furniture gained praise, it was Hemsworth’s dirty feet which appeared to steal the spotlight.

“So no one’s talking about the feet in the last pictures,” read one comment with more than 2000 likes.

“For goodness sake, look at your feet!!!” wrote someone else, gaining hundreds of likes.

“Yo last pic is real struggle,” said another popular comment.

“You can tell he is an Aussie, look at his feet lol,” added another.

“I love how dirty his feet are in the last snap,” penned a fifth person.

Some Aussies rushed to defend the Thor star.

“It’s Australia no one wears shoes,” stated one.

“Being barefoot is a way of life here in Australia … especially in the warmer coastal areas,” explained another.

It is certainly not the first time Hemsworth’s bare feet have created a stir.

The famous Aussie, his wife Elsa Pataky and their three children have been snapped endlessly by local paparazzi as they run all over town barefoot.

And it’s not just the Hemsworths that are making foreigners scratch their heads.

TikTok is filled with tourists sharing videos where they express their shock that Aussies often roam around without any foot coverings and it always gets a huge reaction.
