Accompanied by her two daughters, Olive, 11, and Frankie, 10, Barrymore was ushered through the busy terminal ahead of her flight back to LA.

Mother and daughters kept it casual in their slouchy jumpers and trackies, with the 49-year-old also opting to show the local Dophins NRL team some love by sporting the team hat.

Tones and I also delivered a powerful performance of her song Figure It Out, after which she got emotional and struggled to hold back tears.

“I wrote this song about losing my best friend in the world through becoming famous,” she explained of the track.

Barrymore was also Wanderlust True North’s guest of honour on Saturday evening at the Brisbane Convention Centre, where she spoke to the Terri Irwin, Michael Klim and Emma Watkins.

The actress has proven to be a natural at hosting and interviewing when she debuted her self-titled talk show in 2020, talking to some of Hollywood’s biggest names including Oprah Winfrey, Ariana Grande and Pink.
