Sean Penn’s daughter, Dylan Penn, approves of Charlize Theron

SEAN Penn has married some strong women in Madonna and Robin Wright. His daughter says her dad’s girlfriend, Charlize Theron, is a ‘powerhouse’.

DYLAN Penn (daughter of Oscar-winner Sean Penn and House of Cards actor Robin Wright) is rapt her dad is seeing Charlize Theron because she’s “the only woman” who can shut him up.

“She’s awesome,” Penn told Us Weekly of the Oscar-winning actor.

“They’ve been away for months working together in South Africa, so I haven’t seen much of either of them. She’s great and they’re amazing together. As long as my dad’s happy, I’m happy for both of them.”

Penn went on to further explain what makes Theron so good for her notoriously volatile father.

“Well, she’s brilliant for one thing,” Penn said, “and she’s the only woman since my mum who can shut my dad up. The only woman! That is a f***ing challenge so ... She’s a powerhouse.”

Penn and Theron are currently in South Africa shooting the drama, The Last Face. (Theron is starring in the film directed by Penn.)

Penn was previously married to Madonna from 1985 to 1989. He went on to marry Wright in 1996 and the two divorced in 2010.
