The actress was spotted soaking up the sunshine and culture, taking in some of Rome’s most iconic sights with her 15-year-old daughter Ava and her mother Betty Reese.
Wearing a bright yellow sun dress and a fedora hat, Reese looked every bit the stylish tourist, while blonde-haired Ava is looking more like her famous mum every day.
The trio visited the Campidoglio Hilltop square designed by Michelangelo and later admired the equestrian statue of Emperor Marco Aurelio. They also took in the Piazza of the Knights of Malta and looked through the famous keyhole where you can admire a beautiful view of St. Peter.
Ava and her 12-year-old brother Deacon are Witherspoon’s children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. the couple was married for eight years before divorcing in 2007.
The Wild actress also has a two-year-old son named Tennessee with her second husband Jim Toth.
