Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax ‘suffered complex trauma’ in e-bike crash: report

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s 20-year-old son has a “long road of recovery” ahead of him after being rushed to hospital.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax is out of the hospital following his scary accident.

The 20-year-old was released from the ICU days after crashing his electric bike in Los Angeles, a source told People on Sunday.

The insider said that Pax — who Jolie, 49, shares with her ex-husband Pitt — “suffered complex trauma” in the crash.

“And now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy,” the source added, reports the New York Post.

Jolie rushed to her son’s side after he was hospitalised.

The source said Pax and his mum “are deeply grateful for the quick and lifesaving action of first responders, and the outstanding medical care he received.”

Pax’s five siblings have also “been visiting and helping” him since the accident.

“They are all very close,” said the insider.

Pax ended up in the hospital on July 29.

According to TMZ, he was driving his e-bike on Los Feliz Boulevard at 5pm when he slammed into the back of a car that was stopped at a red light.

Pax, who allegedly was not wearing a helmet, injured his hip and his head, witnesses claimed.

Medics reportedly feared Pax suffered a minor brain bleed in the accident, but TMZ reported that he was in stable condition at the hospital.

Pax was adopted by Jolie in 2007 at age 3. He was formally adopted by Pitt, 60, in 2008.

The former couple, who were legally divorced in 2019, also share Maddox, 23, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.

Pax has a close bond with his mother. He and his brother Maddox worked with Jolie on her directorial feature Without Blood, which filmed in Italy in 2022.

“We work well together,” Jolie said to People in August 2022. “When a film crew is at its best, it feels like a big family, so it felt natural.”

On the other hand, Pax and his siblings are estranged from their dad.

He once went on a social media rant against Pitt on Father’s Day 2020.

“Happy Father’s Day to this world class a**ehole!! You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person,” Pax’s caption said, per the Daily Mail. “You have no consideration or empathy toward your 4 youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence.”

“You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday,” the then-16-year-old reportedly continued. “So, Happy Father’s Day, you f**king awful human being!!!”

Pax’s younger sibling Shiloh recently requested to drop “Pitt” from her last name, but a hearing on the matter was delayed because the court didn’t finish the background check in time, according to Page Six.
