Aussie DJ Havana Brown reveals ‘uncomfortable’ Diddy encounter

DJ Havana Brown has lifted the lid on her experience with the music mogul following his arrest on sex trafficking and prostitution charges.

Reason Diddy has been placed on 'urgent' watch for his safety

Australian DJ Havana Brown has opened up about attending “an infamous [P. Diddy] party”, claiming she’d ended up in an “uncomfortable” situation.

Brown, 39, who was recently eliminated from The Amazing Race, spoke about her experience mixing in the music mogul’s circle on Hit WA’s Allan & Carly show, claiming that “everyone knew” about his alleged “Freak Off” parties.

“It’s not a secret in the industry at all … Absolutely everybody in the industry knew what was going on,” she told the radio hosts.

Combs was arrested last week and charged for sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He has pleaded not guilty to all three counts.

It’s since been alleged that he held “Freak Off” sessions in which women were coerced to engage in sexual activities with male prostitutes while he masturbated, and that it was often recorded. He was also accused of providing drugs to “keep the victims obedient”.

During the radio interview on Tuesday, Brown said that she’d crossed Combs’ path through her friend Pitbull, with whom she’d collaborated on 2012 track We Run The Night.

“[Pitbull] just took us around, and showed us around Miami, all his houses, all his friend’s houses … which is really interesting right now.”

Brown went on to allege that she had been “uncomfortable” during her time in Combs’ orbit.

“I have been in situations that are connected to him where I have felt very uncomfortable – but not at a ‘Freak Off’ party,” she claimed.

“I’m too wise to be putting myself in that situation. I would never – it’s too scary for me. I don’t want to ever be put in a situation where you have to say ‘no’, because that’s when they just ruin you.”

The DJ added that she’d found the dance section of the music industry “absolutely blissful” but had only felt unsafe at times when she’d “dabbled outside” of it and “started doing more hip hop.”

“That’s when it gets a bit weird and unfortunately I don’t know why it’s so ingrained. I’m sure it’s in every industry, I’m not saying it’s not – but I have never experienced it other than in the hip hop world.”
