Within days of lockdown being lifted for double-vaxxed NSW residents, the phones were running hot with reports of the rich and famous allegedly breaking the rules.

Within days of lockdown being lifted for double-vaccinated NSW residents, Sunday Confidential’s phone was running hot with reports of celebrities, influencers and socialites allegedly breaking the rules.

No stranger to controversy, Byron Bay-based model Ruby Tuesday Matthews, who once famously held up a Jetstar flight because she was finishing a plate of oysters, entered Sydney from Byron Bay on Friday to enjoy a late lunch at celebrity haunt Mimi’s in Coogee.

The mother-of-two uploaded images of the lavish lunch, with a few keen-eyed followers recognising the popular Merivale restaurant’s china and commenting that she was in Sydney.

Matthews’ management Ministry Of Talent was contacted but wasn’t aware she was in Sydney, and calls to Matthews went unanswered.

It’s not known if Matthews had an exemption to be in Sydney.

Matthews has not been fined or charged.

Confidential has also been made aware of an anti-vax, eastern suburbs-based make-up artist who has been ruffling feathers around town thanks to her brazen rule-breaking.

The woman who posted several anti-vax messages while NSW was in lockdown, posted images of herself getting some beauty treatments done in the eastern suburbs the same week restrictions were lifted.

When asked by her “friends” how she was able to enter a beauty salon unvaccinated, she reportedly told them she was using a fake vaccine passport.

When Confidential began making calls regarding the law-breaking, her profile was made private.

“Even her closest friends are annoyed because she is putting other people at risk,” one insider said.

“And it’s not even like she is being coy about it. She is blatantly flaunting the fact she is flouting the rules.

“She isn’t the only one. I know for a fact people are bragging about getting doctors to give them saline injections and still saying they are vaccinated.

“These people are coming into my salon and putting my business in jeopardy.”

While former AFL player Barry Hall did go straight from filming SAS Australia in Sydney to Brisbane ahead of the arrival of his third child with partner Lauren Brant, Confidential can reveal he is not breaking any rules.

Brant shared a snap of the happy reunion to her Instagram page before sharing a post which read: “Thank you for all your love and support this pregnancy. I am switching off and enjoying our beautiful family of four before it turns into 5 earth-side.”

Confidential has learnt Hall was granted an exemption to enter Queensland and quarantine at home with his family after filming the Channel 7 series.

“After much persistence Barry’s family succeeded in getting him a full exemption to travel back into Queensland,” a source said.

“He is currently in home quarantine.”
