Woman’s Day photos of Bachelor frontrunner Heather in a wedding dress were taken two years ago

WOMAN’S Day is speculating that Bachelor Sam Wood and frontrunner Heather are already married. News.com.au has uncovered the truth.

“BIGGEST BACHELOR BOMBSHELL EVER! Sam and Heather MARRIED ALREADY?!”

That’s the headline splashed across the cover of the latest issue of Woman’s Day, alongside a photoshopped picture of Sam Wood and the 29-year-old Bachelor contestant Heather in a white wedding dress.

It would have been a bombshell, had it been true.

The gossip mag ran the photos of Heather (taken from her Facebook page), which show her drinking a glass of champagne while wearing a white strapless wedding gown to prove the pair had already tied the knot.

The Facebook pictures being run by Woman’s Day, clearly show they were taken two years ago.

But news.com.au has seen the photos of Heather and can reveal the pictures were taken in June 2013 as part of a promotional bridal shoot for The Kirribilli Club, an ex-services club on Sydney Harbour, to promote their wedding services.

“Have Sam and Heather got married already?,” the mag asked in the double page spread. “Is she dropping a hint to her beau about what a beautiful bride she would make? Or, with filming well and truly finished, is she trialling wedding dresses after being proposed to by Sam in the final episode?”

Turns out, Heather is doing none of these things.

The pictures clearly show on Facebook that they were uploaded more than two years ago, long before the aspiring filmmaker from Newtown in Sydney’s Inner West set her sights on finding love on reality TV.

Heather has, however, quickly become one of the frontrunners to win Wood’s heart after receiving the white rose during the first episode.
