BRITISH actor Tom Hiddleston says he has trouble keeping himself undercover now that “everybody knows who I am.”

But the Night Manager star is doing nothing to play down his fame after he stripped to his underwear for a fashion shoot for US magazine W.

Tom, 35, who was revealed to be dating 26-year-old singing sensation Taylor Swift in a world exclusive by The Sun last week, says that he’s very good at “keeping secrets.”

And he says he was “surprised” that US censors cut out images of his bare bottom because they were deemed to be too racy for US audiences.

Mr Hiddleston who attended Eton College and later graduated from the University of Cambridge is hotly tipped to be the next James Bond.

However when he was quizzed by the magazine during their shoot in April he said he would made a “terrible spy.”

He said: “Right now I’d make a terrible spy, because every­body knows who I am.

“They’d be like, “What are you doing here?”

“But Susanne Bier, the director of The Night Manager, said that she thinks I am very enigmatic and good at keeping secrets.”

The Avengers star, who is set appear as Captain James Conrad alongside actress Brie Larson in the forthcoming epic Kong: Skull Island, also says he was surprised about censors cutting out images of his bare behind in the BBC distributed show The Night Manager.

He added: “I was surprised to hear that they cut my butt out! I’m here to tell you that my butt is not dangerous.

“And there are many, many more dangerous things that people are happy to broadcast.

“I don’t know what that says about the world we live in, but it probably says something.”

Last week Tom and Taylor were caught locking lips during a romantic getaway US state of Rhode Island after they were previously spotted dancing at the Met Gala in New York in May.

An onlooker revealed: “They were all over each other — hugging and kissing — even though there were 20 people coming and going on the beach.

“They looked like any young couple madly in love without a care in the world.”

Taylor, who split from Scots DJ Calvin Harris after 15 months earlier this month, is said to have been wooed by romantic Tom in a series of gentlemanly gestures.

A source close to Taylor revealed: “Tom has been courting Taylor since they met — he sent her flowers. She’s been won over.”
