THE Oscar winner was less than impressed when a magazine published a story claiming he’s currently dating an actor more than 30 years his junior.

RUSSELL Crowe has slammed Woman’s Day after it published a story claiming he’s dating a 22-year-old actor.

According to the magazine, 53-year-old Crowe has been dating Love Child actor Sophia Forrest for three months.

The actor starred in Crowe’s 20014 movie The Water Diviner and is the daughter of one of Australia’s richest men, Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest.

A source told the magazine that the actor is “just as crazy about Russell as he is about her. She adores him”.

But Russell Crowe was not impressed by the story and threatened Woman’s Day with a lawsuit similar to the one just won by Rebel Wilson.

“Dear @WomansDayAus can you not stuff your s**t filled pages with deliberate lies about relationships I’ve never been in?” Crowe tweeted.

In a follow-up tweet, the Oscar winner wrote: “Don’t make me go all @RebelWilson on your ass @WomansDayAus”.

This isn’t the first time Crowe has tweeted about stories published in magazines in an attempt to set the record straight.

He took to social media last December after a series of articles claimed he was in a relationship with his longtime friend, Terri Irwin.

“Last week @NewIdeamagazine said I was getting married, now @WomansDay saying the weddings off,” Crowe tweeted on December 7.

“I have such a dramatic life in bs magazines.”
