Justin Timberlake is ‘not happy’ and ‘not OK’ with Britney Spears’ bombshell claims

The singer is “not happy” about what’s been alleged by his famous ex in her explosive new memoir – and it’s come at a particularly awkward time.

Justin Timberlake has reportedly been left fuming after having private details of his three-year relationship with Britney Spears laid bare in her bombshell new memoir.

The former NSYNC star has been facing criticism this week after his ex-girlfriend shared multiple unflattering allegations in The Woman In Me, including that he’d cheated and had urged her to get an abortion when they found out she was pregnant at 19.

According to the Daily Mail, Timberlake has no plans to reach out to Spears, and is furious that she has given only one side of the story.

“Justin has not reached out to Britney at all about any of this, and he is not going to because there is nothing he can say to her,” a source told the publication, adding that she was “just telling it from her point of view” and that he is not “OK with it”.

“Justin is not at all happy about what has come out in this book,” the source told the Mail.

“Doing this book has given Britney life, and she really doesn’t care who is offended by anything in it because it is what happened. She was there and lived through it. No one can say anything. She has got this all out of her and is moving on now.”

Spears and Timberlake first met as young kids on The Mickey Mouse Club, and began dating as teens in 1999 in what became one of the most high-profile pop relationships of the era.

They broke up in 2002, with Spears alleging this week that Timberlake had dumped her via a two-word text while she was on the set of her music video for Overprotected.

The Toxic singer wrote in her memoir that she was “devastated” and considered quitting the music industry entirely afterwards – but Timberlake had seemed unbothered by the split.

“I was comatose in Louisiana, and he was happily running around Hollywood,” she claimed.

Spears’ revelations about her romance with Timberlake have come at a particularly awkward time for the Like I Love You singer, whose 11th wedding anniversary with Jessica Biel was reportedly marred as a result.

“Britney’s book coming out with all the revelations coming from it has not been the best for his anniversary celebrations,” a second source told the Mail.

“Having it in the zeitgeist hasn’t been a topic of constant conversation, but Justin and Jessica have definitely talked about it.

“And to have to think of all of that during a time when they should celebrate their love for each other hasn’t been the most satisfying of days lately; it has been a bit stressful.”
