Singer Bonnie Anderson has welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Bobby.

“It was always you our darling boy. Bobby Ray Morrison,’’ Anderson captioned pictures of her adorable new arrival.

The former Neighbours star and her fiancée Sam Morrison couldn’t wait to become parents.

At the start of this month she said: “Not long to go now until we meet our boy. It has been such a dream carrying you for 9 months. I am so excited to meet you and see who’s been hiding in there all this time.”

Anderson and Morrison have been renovating their dream home on the Mornington Peninsula.

She told Channel 7 that after a rocky start, falling pregnant had been a joy.

“The beginning was all sorts of weird feelings. Just your body changing, everything changing. It’s been really nice this last week. I’ve got my mojo back,’’ she said.

She and Morrison initially didn’t want to know the gender of their baby, but she later changed her mind.

In October Anderson, who won Australia’s Got Talent at age 12, gathered with loved ones at a property in Blairgowrie to celebrate her baby shower.

She played Bea Nilsson on long-running soap Neighbours from 2018 to 2021.
