Bindi Irwin gives latest update as family gets behind her recovery

Bindi Irwin’s mum and husband have shown their support for the beloved TV personality and wildlife conservationist after her major health scares. See what they said.

Aussie zookeeper and TV personality Bindi Irwin recently shared an update on her health following undergoing emergency surgery in the US for a ruptured appendix.

She has been healing from the surgery and is grateful for the support she has received.

The surgery involved removing her appendix and addressing her ongoing battler with endometriosis.

Irwin since shared the news from her hospital bed that she had 14 new endometriosis lesions removed – as well as a hernia stitched up during the surgery.

She’s since been on the road to recovery and has thanked her family and friends for their support.

Irwin has been battling endometriosis for over 12 years.

The Irwin family have each come out to publicly express their support for the beloved member of their wildlife conservationist clan.

Bindi’s mum Terri Irwin weighed in, striking an upbeat note despite the health hurdles, and posted a photo of her holding hands with Bindi.

“I’ve had so many fun adventures with my dear Bindi. Now I’m happy to see that every day is a bit brighter and better as she recovers from surgery. Here’s cheers to all the fun to come!”

Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell posted a heartfelt message to his Instagram account paying tribute to the strength of his wife: “I’ve said it many times already, but as time goes on I’m even more convinced that you are the strongest person I know. Going through everything you have to get on top of your health as well as help others along the way is incredible. You are a warrior in every sense of the word. Grace and I are so grateful for you and everything you do”.

The post included a photo of a Bindi Irwin walking and holding hands with their daughter.

Bindi commented on the post, “My hope is to be healthy for our family. I love you so much.”

Meanwhile, Bindi continues to use her story to raise awareness about endometriosis and the need for more support and understanding for women struggling with similar reproductive health issues.
