Bikini model Cherry Dana has slammed Sydney’s brutal dating scene, saying she prefers the ‘stress-free convenience’ of hiring an escort instead.

Fed up with the Sydney dating scene, bikini model Cherry Dana has turned to escorts.

The 34-year-old, who is prolific on social media sites, including OnlyFans and Instagram, moved from Newcastle to Sydney several months ago and was open to finding love.

But it has so far eluded her.

“I actually thought there would be more options in Sydney, being more business orientated that I would be able to find someone that is like-minded,” she told Confidential.

“Moving from Newcastle I realised I was mistaken.

“Dating just doesn’t seem to work in my favour.

Dana, who has nearly one million followers on Instagram alone, said it was easier to pay $500 for an hour with a male escort than navigate the dating scene — or lack thereof — with most people heading online in their pursuit of love.

Dana says escorts are convenient.

The model likes the discretion of escorts.

According to statistics, some 1.7 million Australians use online dating apps, and one third have met their partner online.

Australian Bureau of Statistics data from 2019 showed women are more likely to find love in the suburbs than the city.

“I would rather book an escort because there is discretion with it and there is no ego attached to it,” Dana said.

“It is like a stress-free convenience. It doesn’t take up my time, and it is not mentally and emotionally draining.”

The ‘lack of ego’ with escorts attracts Dana.

Dana estimates she has used the services of an escort three times over the past six months.

“My first time I was very nervous, more nervous than a first date. I have been lucky enough that they kind of stay a bit longer for free,” she laughed.

“I am open to dating if I found someone that I got along with mentally, emotionally and I found physically attractive and we were on the same page with goals and wants.

“But I haven’t come across that yet.”
