Return of Big Brother Uncut

There’s “dancing under the doona”, near-nude showers and racy romps, yet this year’s Big Brother contestants still claim to have shown “restraint”.

Big Brother Uncut is back, with Seven promising it will be the “spiciest” series ever.

“Considering we were in a house with 15 gorgeous people, I think we handled our shit pretty well to be honest,” popular housemate Josh told Saturday Confidential.

“If I had it my way, I would have done the deed a week in … but you know, you have got to be respectful.

“I showed restraint. My parents are watching. But there was lots of doona dancing.”

Josh, a 33-year-old traction linesman from Double Bay, is currently coupled up with Tay, however the couple vowed from day one they would “keep it clean”.

“Tay and I talked about that from the start,” he said.

“It (sex) was a no-go zone.

“We had that conversation pretty early on.

“We said ‘surely we can just wait until the end of the show’.”

He described waiting until the cameras stopped rolling before “going all the way” as “kind of like no sex before marriage … so the grand finale must have been our wedding ceremony”.

Fellow housemate, 30-year-old AnnaSophia said her parents warned her prior to entering the Big Brother house to not “get out of control”.

“I always know my boundaries … But my parents might have mentioned a few things before I went in,” she said.

“They say ‘don’t get out of control’ … I’ve got a tendency to get a little bit cheeky.

“This is definitely a raunchier version of Big Brother. It is not like anything else Big Brother has seen before.

“It is controversial. Very controversial.

“There’s a lot of young people wanting the same person so you would expect that. We have got a lot of hot young single people … It’s inevitable that it gets sexy.

Just one episode in, the new season of the show has seen a mixed review from viewers, with some saying it’s too similar to other reality dating shows, including Married At First Sight and Love Island.

Uncut, which initially aired on Channel 10, attracted significant controversy following its debut in 2001, before being axed in 2006.

This year, Seven has promised “unblurred and uncensored” content.

“It showcases the juiciest, sexiest, raunchiest and funniest unseen moments of the week that are too explicit for television,” a seven spokesman said.

Big Brother Uncut will launch this week on 7plus.
