Baby number two is on the way for Bachelor couple Matthew Johnson and Laura Byrne.
Already parents to 15-month old daughter Marlie-Mae, the reality TV couple announced the news on social media.
“I reckon we’ve kept this little beach ball under wraps for long enough,” Byrne wrote, showing off her growing baby bump on a Byron Bay beach.
“Half way to number 2. A big shout out to @matthewdavidjohnson for his contribution.”
Johnson also shared pictures on Instagram.
“Marlie-Mae learning shocked face couldn’t have been timed any better. WE’RE HAVING A BABY! Please brace yourself for twice the amount of dad jokes.”
Johnson and Byrne got together on the 2017 season of reality show, The Bachelor.
He had previously been unlucky in his quest to find love on Georgia Love’s 2016 season of The Bachelorette, in which he was runner-up.
Johnson spoke to the Telegraph ahead of Father’s Day this month, saying he had mixed feelings about his daughter getting older.
On one hand he wants to savour every moment and, on the other, he can’t wait for the 15-month-old to start talking.
