From Margot Robbie to Scarlett Johansson, some of Hollywood’s most stylish stars have strutted the silver-coloured carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
A standout was Australian-born star Robbie, wearing a checked halter-neck dress by Chanel teamed with strands of gold necklaces by the French luxury brand.
Frills, tiered dresses, citrus hues and some eyebrow raising accessories – hello, Helena Bonham Carter’s glittering silver sunglasses – were among the style highlights, as Johansson turned heads in a low-cut Armani gown and JLo put a bow on it at the Shrine Auditorium.
Marriage Story star Johansson sported a teal Armani gown with a plunging neckline, as she arrived with her fiance, Saturday Night Live comedian, Colin Jost.
He sported a made-to-measure Armani suit, as did Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino, whose outfit featured a satin trim.
Instead of wearing a show bow on the front of her gown (like she did at the Golden Globes), Hustlers star Jennifer Lopez took her bow to the back for the SAGs.
She wore a bespoke gown by Georges Hobeika.
Dripping with $9 million worth of Harry Winston diamonds, JLo stepped out on the silver carpet with her doting fiance, Alex Rodriguez.
Morning Show star Jennifer Aniston deviated from her penchant for wearing all-black, instead choosing an elegant, bridal-esque off-white gown by Dior.
Modern Family star Sarah Hyland dared to bare in a floral bubble dress, which had a plunging neckline and short hemline with a long train.
Though the outfit would’ve been more suited to high school prom (aka formal) than a glitzy Hollywood awards show.
Judy star Renée Zellweger wore a strapless, midnight blue gown by Maison Margiela, accessorised with Cartier jewels.
Early silver carpet arrivals included Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, wearing a bizarre all-white Louis Vuitton coat/dress and matching pants.
Wearing Louis Vuitton, Lupita Nyong’o wore $US3.5 million worth of diamonds with a strapless gown, which featured 32,000 sequins.
Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron posed together on the silver carpet, where Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star Pitt opted for an open-collared shirt.
So did Christian Bale, who attended the black tie affair without a tie.
Patricia Arquette wore a striking red and black suit, which looked like it needed a bit more tailoring at the ankles.
Citrus hues, OTT frills and bows were early trends, as stars tried to standout.
