Ashley Graham isn’t letting “rude” Hugh Grant get under her skin.
The model had an epic response when asked whether she took “offence” to the cold responses the actor gave her while she was interviewing him on yesterday’s Oscars red carpet.
“You know what, my mama told me to kill people with kindness, so there you go,” Graham, 35, told TMZ on Monday.
Graham did not elaborate on the cringe-worthy moment any further. However, she did say she still “had such a good time” while interviewing several other A-listers for the pre-Oscar’s program on US TV network ABC, New York Post reports.
When asked if she wanted to send a “message” to Grant, the model stayed silent.
Over the past 24 hours, the British star, 62, has received backlash from critics for his unenthusiastic responses to Graham’s red carpet interview questions.
During the interaction, which lasted less than two minutes, Graham asked the Love Actually actor a series of typical awards show questions – but received fairly blunt replies.
When asked about “who” he was wearing, Grant bluntly responded that it was “just” his suit by an unnamed “tailor”. He also said he had “no one in particular” in mind for who he wanted to win at the ceremony.
Seemingly at a loss for what to possibly ask Grant next on the spot, the model inquired about what it was like working on the star-studded movie Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
“Well, I’m barely in it. I’m in it for about three seconds,” he said, to which Graham asked if he at least had “fun”, with his reply: “Almost.”
Fans immediately took to social media, calling the British actor an “a**hole,” “jerk” and “d**che”, among many other not-so-kind words.
Despite the awkward encounter, Graham still seemed to enjoy her time at the awards ceremony, sharing several selfies with celebrities including Rihanna, Melissa McCarthy and Austin Butler.
